Glen Ilen offers Visitors an ideal base to explore the charm and breathtaking scenery that WFest Cork has to offer. This newly renovated and extended traditional 1930’s house is situated less than 400 M (¼ mile) from the bustling market town of Skibbereen. Panoramic views of Sherkin Island, the Ilen River delta and rolling landscape are to be enjoyed less than 800 M (½ mile) from this luxury self-catering house.

Offering the best compromise between the solitude of a rural retreat and the amenities of a town, Glen Ilen is the ultimate West Cork self-catering experience. Glen Ilen has been awarded Four Star classification and is fully approved by Fáilte Ireland (Irish Tourism Board).

The ground floor includes a large Kitchen, Dining area and Sitting Room. Original period (1930’s) features such as the cast iron fireplace have been retained in the tastefully modernised Sitting Room.

The Kitchen features all modern conveniences including Dishwasher, Microwave Oven, Fridge Freezer, Convection Oven & Ceramic Hob. The Utility Room (adjacent to the Kitchen) includes a Washing Machine, Tumble Dryer and an additional WC and sink.

The first floor boasts four Bedrooms, Master Bathroom and Hot Press. The house is capable of sleeping a maximum of 7 adults - two of the Bedrooms are twin rooms (two single beds in each room), one single room and a Master Bedroom containing a double bed. The Master Bedroom also incorporates an en-suite Bathroom. A cot is also available where advance notice is provided..

Each room is tastefully decorated and furnished to a high standard. Original features have again been retained and incorporated into the refurbished Bedrooms – the original floorboards and cast-iron fireplaces adding to the charming character of your stay at Glen Ilen
