You'll find yourself swayed back in time and should the mood take you, unwind as only one can do with your daily paper, feet up, in perfect peace with only the crackling of a real log fire to interrupt your thoughts.

Only 5 mins walk from Cahir town centre there is no shortage of excellent leisure pursuits whether it be Golfing, Fishing, Horseriding, Hill Walking, Tennis or Cycling, all are literally at the doorstep.

The cottages are situated between two of the most popular tourist attractions in the South East, the Swiss Cottage & Cahir Castle. They have panoramic views of the Parklands, the river Suir & the golf course.

Within 15 km radius are many historical and cultural sites; the Nire Valley, Glen of Aherlow, St. Patrick's Well, Rock of Cashel, Mitchelstown Caves, to name but a few.

There is also plenty for children to do & see in the area including Parson's Green Park & Pet Farm, pony trekking through the Parklands and access to local leisure centres.

There are also ballad sessions, nightclubs & good food to be found locally. If you enjoy eating out, Cahir is well catered for with Chinese, Italian and European cuisine restaurants as well as a steak house all within walking distance of the Cottages.

Cahir Park Golf club is just half a mile from Cahir, amid some beautiful parkland scenery with Cahir Castle overlooking the course. There are six other golf courses to choose from all within 5km radius of Cahir, so golf enthusiasts will be spoilt for choice.

Fishing
The renowned river Suir flows right through the heart of Cahir and offers superb trout and salmon fishing, or you can simply stroll along the many miles of beautiful river bank.

Horse Riding
Start a life long love affair with horses by taking a visit to Cahir Equestrian Centre. The Centre is just a few minutes' drive from Cahir Park Cottages, with trekking and daily riding lessons as well as a cross country course.
